A qualified Architectural Technician with over 30 years experience within the building industry.

I have experience in working as an architectural technician for local councils and private practices, completing design schemes, tendering procedures and site supervision. In addition, I have worked as a building surveyor for Council’s Housing Maintenance section and was a Senior Building Surveyor in the Estates Department at Hull College. Here I was responsilbe for maintenance budgets & programmes, scheduling works and site supervision. Also from the precurement side I have worked as a quantity and self-build consultant for MKM Building supplies, Hull Ltd seeing the industry from the opersite end being responsible for assessing materials and quantities required for the scheme and making recommendations on specifications and cost saving options.

I set up my own business, DMH Architectural Services in January 2009 as I have always enjoyed designing homes. I am able to communicate at all levels and can interpret the customers’ needs and requirements easily. I take pride in being conscientious in providing a professional services at reasonable costs to all customers be it a large developer building an estate or a home owner wanting a small extension.
